About Breakthrough Academy
We run a ridiculously fast-growing company that helps innovative entrepreneurs in the contracting industry grow their businesses by implementing excellent operational systems into their companies. We believe in the unlimited potential of entrepreneurship and help our Members (clients) break through barriers and take their businesses to the next level.
Our proprietary training program brings systemization to a company’s operations, develops an entrepreneur’s core business skills, and holds accountability to goals along with a clear business plan.
Breakthrough Academy is now just seven years old and growing rapidly with over 500 business owners developing in the program, and an awesome team of 35 running the show. We are leaders in the contracting industry, producing high-quality, engaging content across multiple channels and we are well on track to continue the growth of our community.

In This Role, You Will Be:
Working closely with high-performing entrepreneurs to take their business to the next level
Utilizing our proprietary Management System and various resource tools to teach business and executive skills to our Members (clients)
Facilitating group meetings to share ideas and best practices with business owners
Coaching business owners in 1on1 one-on-one meetings to drive accountability and results
Providing feedback on business owners’ strategic plan and quarterly reviews
Designing roadmaps to highlight Members’ priorities and strategic direction
Generating options to solve Members business problems
Following up with Members to ensure the training is implemented and executed to drive positive results
Tracking and reporting key Member success deliverables
Challenging Members on seeking a deeper understanding of specific business concepts, executive skills and behaviours
Acting as a resource for business owners to utilize the vendor partnership program The Company’s Approved Vendor Partner ecosystem
Supporting and working with the Sales and Marketing Team, giving insights and feedback from your Member interactions
Collaborating with other coaches to develop best practices and contribute to the collective wealth of coaching resources
Experience Required
Led, operated or owned a successful construction/trades business (min. $5MM/yr revenue) and/or
5+ years experience leading a high performing team of at least 8 people, including both executives and junior roles
Experience in implementing franchise-like systems and/or robust business processes
Extensive business experience and understanding of multiple executive skill sets (i.e. operation performance management, recruitment, sales, financial management, etc.)
Experience coaching/consulting in various settings including one on one, groups, in person and virtually
Entrepreneurial spirit with a strong business acumen
Strong work ethic, professionalism, confidentiality and good judgment
Outstanding written and verbal communication, including strong public speaking experience
Passion for continued improvement and sharing best practices
Demonstrated problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
Workshop and training content development is an asset
Must be eligible to work in Canada
