James has a natural ability to solve problems and an inquisitive mind, which makes him the perfect individual to guide our community through the vast array of tracking required to run their businesses effectively. By employing his diverse experience in Technical Writing and Commercial Analysis, he has the ability to simplify intricate processes and information into clear, actionable insights that are invaluable to business owners.

James began in the industry by technical writing and copy editing for large industrial automation firms and contributing to massive projects, designing production line equipment. He was able to lend his skills to solve the unique challenges involved in large-scale EV battery assembly installations. At Breakthrough Academy, he is able to bring his technical problem-solving together with his passion for improving the lives of those around him. His drive to help others tackle previously insurmountable challenges brings tremendous value to our community.  James is the perfect example of the kind of high performance we value at BTA because of his enthusiasm for creating solutions that enhance workflow and efficiency, as well as his love of learning new technologies. 

James grew up in Ontario and has a deep passion for the great outdoors and hiking. He has travelled and lived all around Canada, from Yellowknife to Toronto, with his partner and dog. Additionally, he is really passionate about 3D printing, which gives him regular opportunities to exercise his creative and 3D design skills.
