Ashley is one of those people who finds success in helping others achieve their dreams. After graduating with a diploma in Business Admin Marketing from Humber College, followed by a diploma in Hospitality Management, Ashley quickly scaled up the career ladder due to her natural ability to understand people’s needs, and act on them. After breaking into the hospitality industry as a sales coordinator in Ontario, Ashley was offered the opportunity to join The Westin Resort & Spa in Whistler, and within two weeks had her bags packed and was moving across the country. From there she worked as the Executive Meeting Manager before transitioning over to join JW Marriott Parq Vancouver as Event Manager. Working closely alongside numerous high-profile clients including Oprah, Steven Tyler, and eventually the NHL, she was always willing to do whatever it took to ensure her clients’ needs were met…even if that meant being on-call 24/7. Clients she onboarded six years ago have remained loyal customers to this day – says it all really!

Ashley comes to Breakthrough Academy with a passion for sales, an ability to connect with people from all walks of life, and a drive to help people achieve their goals. You couldn’t get a more genuine first point of contact. As an Assessment Support Specialist, Ashley is able to quickly determine if BTA is a good match for new referrals. Her analytical skills, understanding of business and genuine desire to help contracting companies grow their business is what makes Ashley such a perfect fit. After joining BTA she’s finally managed to achieve her dream of work/life balance, and wants to help others on that journey.

When Ashley’s not helping companies bat their goals out the park, you’ll find her with another bat in her hand….on the baseball field – a passion she shares with her boyfriend and her rescue dog Moose! Either that, or camping, hiking or reading (last year she read 22 books). In the winter months, she likes to rip it up on her snowboard (she’s a certified snowboard instructor too with her Avalanche Operations Level 1 cert). There really is no end to her talents!
