The trades are truly in Brendon’s blood. He spent his youth watching his grandfather, father, uncles, brother, and friends build businesses in a variety of skilled trades, and this kindled a desire within him to help other people achieve high levels of success. After graduating with a Bachelors of Business at Vancouver Island University Brendon spent eight years working with fledgling entrepreneurs across North America, a stint that involved his proficiency with large online platforms, including HomeStars/HomeAdvisor.

As Head of Sales Development at Breakthrough Academy, Brendon plays a key role in helping entrepreneurs scale their companies-and changing their futures as a result. He is especially proud to be part of an organization whose work has a lasting positive impact in the trades he feels so close to.

Whether it’s in a different country or his Vancouver Island home, Brendon and his wife Katharine can be found exploring hidden gems and indulging their passion for fine food. Brendon has a big heart and uses his skills in construction to help others; he was a volunteer for Habitat for Humanity in the U.S. and Southern Africa, and was part of the BTA team that volunteered with Baja Bound Ministries, Inc., a non-profit that builds homes for the working poor of Mexico.
